Plant Engineer - Mechanical

The Plant Engineer - Mechanical plays a crucial role in providing effective support to the Geismar site operation from a tactical standpoint. They are responsible for various aspects related to mechanical engineering, including design, stress evaluations, troubleshooting of pressure vessels and rotative equipment, and the progression of small OPEX projects. The Plant Engineer - Mechanical utilizes their expertise and appropriate resources to ensure work is completed safely, cost-effectively, within budget and schedule, and up to the required standards. Additionally, they focus on improving life-cycle costs by evaluating emerging technologies and technical solutions for mechanical equipment.

Position
Qualifications:


  1. Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  2. Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a Mechanical Engineering role.
  3. Strong understanding of mechanical and piping engineering and design in a Petrochemical environment.
  4. Knowledge of the Oil & Gas, Refining, and/or Petrochemical industry.
