We need YOU!Gulf Coast Technical Development Program Engineer (TDP) 2024 -Geismar, LAWhere the Chemistry HappensWe are seeking candidates like you who are interested in developing their career in Operations and Manufacturing.
Our Technical Development Program offers entry-level Engineers the ability to develop their Engineering knowledge and skills by providing hands-on training and guidance from experienced mentors.
The Technical Development Program is designed to provide you with 2-3 rotations within different areas of the Geismar site in order to gain insight and understanding into your areas of interest.
In this role, you will be responsible for assuring that proper design, installation, preventive maintenance, and proper repair are conducted on instrumentation, electrical and control systems according to regulatory and BASF standards.
As the assigned TDP engineer for the area, you will evaluate the efficiency of manufacturing technologies, instruments, equipment, and tools and be responsible for driving standardization, optimization and delivering solutions that meet productions requirements.

- With the completion of your degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Computer Engineering between December 2023 and May 2024, you will have the ability to rotate through different areas of the plant for the maintenance organization in an instrument/electrical engineering and process control engineering function.
- Your relevant work experience, co-ops/internships and leadership capabilities will allow you to be able to develop your technical knowledge in Plant Maintenance.
- With your academic performance of a 3.
0 (minimum) or higher you will be able to successfully engage with others on topics relevant to plant operations.
