As a Warehouse Manager, you will oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including fleet management, material handling, order fulfillment, and distribution.
Your expertise will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our industrial PVF branch in Geismar, LA.
Duties:
- Oversee all warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and material handling.
- Manage and coordinate fleet of vehicles for efficient transportation and delivery of goods.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse distribution processes and ensure timely procurement of materials.
- Coordinate dispatching activities to ensure efficient routing and on-time delivery.
- Train and supervise warehouse staff, including forklift operators, to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Responsible for the cleaning, maintenance and security of the facility, equipment and fleet.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including materials management, order fulfillment, and fleet management.
- Proficiency in using forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
- Familiarity with pipe, pipe fittings, flanges and valves.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to train and motivate a team.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with suppliers, staff, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- High School degree or equivalent.
- Clean driving record, able to pass a drug screen, and have (or be able to obtain upon hire) a chauffeur's license.
- Have, or able to obtain, a TWIC.
- Any combination of two or more years in customer service, inside sales and/or warehouse operations.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to train and motivate a team.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with suppliers, staff, and other stakeholders.
