Field Tech

Our client, a major IT outsourcing organization with offices across the globe, is currently seeking candidates for a Field Tech opening that will support a large, global partner.
DescriptionThis position assists end-client's employees and contractors with technical support of desktop computers, applications, and related technology.
Support includes installation and maintenance of computer systems and peripherals within established standards and guidelines.
Activities also require interaction with clients to assist in diagnosing and resolving unique issues with tools, applications and technology used in day to day business.
Additionally, this position requires knowledge and insight of all aspects of IT Infrastructure Operations and processes used to support plant and other remote locations.
Responsibilitieso Perform analysis, diagnostics, and resolution of complex problems and implement corrective solutions for end users.
o Install, configure, test, maintain, and troubleshoot end-user workstations and related hardware and software.
o Assist with PC, server, and network equipment installations and movement of existing workstations, server and network equipment when necessary.
o Configure, deploy and troubleshoot IP Phone and network problems and ensure connectivity of all workstations and other network appliances.
o Configure, deploy and troubleshoot Smart phones, cellular data card and other mobile devices with incidents for on-site and/or travelling users.
o Coordinate third party vendors for on-site maintenance and/or incident visits.
o Support workstation, server, networking and other equipment replacement projects.
o Manage equipment and stock for IT-related equipment.
o Perform physical asset validation.
o Be a TEAM PLAYER!!Position RequirementsFormal Education & Certificationo Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Business with a minimum of two (2) years relevant experience, or a non-degreed professional with a high school diploma or GED and five (5) to seven (7) years relevant experience.
Knowledge & Experienceo Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively work with both end-users and team members.
o Solid Understanding of IT infrastructure and how different components interact.
o Experience with the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework.
o Strong workstation and problem solving skills.
o Knowledge of Windows Operation Systems and Google Chrome & Enterprise Applications.
o Knowledge of Cisco IP Telephony.
Work Conditionso Overtime may be required in meet project deadlines.
o Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other devices and objects.
o Participation in training sessions, presentations, and meetings.
o Some travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with remote clients or proving support at off-site locations.
Valid driver's license is necessary.
o Ability to lift 50 lbs.
o May require work in manufacturing facilities.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
