Summary:  Responsible for the overall planning, direction, leadership, control and performance of the Order Fulfillment Process, including Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain of Geismar, LA and Pasadena, TX sites. Major Tasks and Responsibilities:  Provide motivational leadership and direction to all aspects of the Order Fulfillment process to achieve Safety. Quality, Delivery and Cost goals while enhancing teamwork. Implement and promote an Operational Excellence culture throughout Aegis with the goal of increasing capacity and productivity, maintaining quality, and meeting customer and manufacturing profitability targets. Possess ability to multitask and take on additional responsibilities with limited on-site resources; learn, understand, and know when to reach out to available outside resources. Develop, communicate and maintain measures of performance to track progress in meeting objectives.   Continuously improve the operations to improve cost and quality of the product. Identify and implement countermeasures when necessary. Manage suppliers to specification for quality, delivery and cost. Simplify manufacturing process to improve quality through repeatability, standardization and simple quality devices. Work closely with supervisors and functional leaders to share resources as required to meet business unit customer commitments and internal performance requirements. Responsible for continuous improvement deployment within the organization; being an innovator of positive change that favorably impacts profitability, on-time delivery, lead-time and quality. Assure that appropriate equipment is provided, adequately maintained and safely operated; evaluate potential of new equipment and initiate capital equipment requests. Assure that capacity levels are maintained to match demand in the short term and long term; participate in long-range planning and budget preparation. Help develop the employees and provide an atmosphere of open and honest two way communications. Ensure that company policies and procedures are adhered to. Support commitment to 6S.  Provide training and resources to achieve. Participate in Daily Management, Senior Management & Customer Meetings. All other duties as assigned Competencies:  Customer Focus Business Acumen Decision Quality Managerial Courage Motivating Others Drive For Results Building Effective Teams Operational Excellence Command Skills Qualifications: Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree, preferred majors include Operations Management, Supply Chain, Production Management or Engineering.  MBA preferred.  APICS certification a plus At least 10 years' experience with increasing responsibility. 5 years in a leadership position with responsibility for managing an operation, and 5 years of experience responsible for material management preferred Specific skills, knowledge, or experience: Strong leadership and coaching skills.  Capable of driving results through others. Advanced body of knowledge of lean techniques with track record of implementation required. Hands-on experience with CNC machining. Multi-site experiencepreferred Experience working and a distribution and/or customized assembly model is a plus. Demonstrated ability to effectively organize several distinct functions, establish levels of responsibility, delegate appropriate authority and review the work and performance of subordinates in a manner conductive to efficient performance and high morale. Demonstrated ability of planning and executing major strategic initiatives. Demonstrated ability to prepare comprehensive and accurate reports, forecasts, estimates and budgets. Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees, across all functions of the organization including customers and suppliers. Previous success designing and implementing supply chain connections and processes. Demonstrated success with Strategic Sourcing efforts and cost savings. Demonstrated success developing sustainable facility management processes. Working knowledge of federal and state regulations governing employment practices required. Must be relentless about continuous improvement. Willingness to learn, teach, and implement new techniques for process improvement. Solid PC skills, particularly with spreadsheet and/or database management. Strong work and personal ethics. Excellent oral and written communication skills to work effectively in a team environment. Working Conditions: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally, movement within office and manufacturing complex, write by hand and keyboard, and general office functions. Communication is by phone and in person. Occasional travel will be required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
