Manager - Division Safety

General Summary The Division Safety Manager is responsible for managing and providing oversight of the safety program and guidance to division personnel. Essential Job Functions Maintains a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety and quality standards and practices and to legal regulations, alerting others regarding potential hazards or concern Adheres to and is a champion of TEAM's Core Values Researches and participates in the development and implementation of safety programs, and in formulating continuous improvement strategies and policies Provides on-going support in managing and investigating accidents, injuries and near misses involving employees and vehicles Leads and/or participates in root cause investigations Supports Districts with safety meetings and/or presentations Conducts site visits and audits to ensure safety compliance is maintained by employees Performs Operational Safety inspections, including providing comprehensive reports to ensure compliance with applicable Team Industrial Services (TISI), OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and EPA Policies and Standards Provides current and historical safety data to assigned Division operations to ensure proper communication of trends and/or concerns have been established Monitors and assists Districts with maintaining compliance with safety training requirements Conducts comprehensive safety presentations and training for employees and clients. Manages Division Smith System Driver Safety Program, which includes the completion of the Smith System Instructor Certification Provides safety support to assigned locations and individuals as it relates to customer needs Job Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/certification plus experience in Health and Safety Six (6) or more years of experience in a health, safety, and/or environmental role Previous experience in the industrial services sector is preferred Knowledge of HSE regulatory compliance Work Conditions Position is based out of a District location Work is conducted in a semi-private office/cubicle setting On call for emergencies 24/7 or must provide back -up when unavailable Travel requirements up to 50% Physical and Mental Requirements Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits employee to communicate effectively Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation Sufficient manual dexterity with or without reasonable accommodation, which permit the employee to perform routine office duties Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations to perform office duties and travel when necessary to off-site locations 1001req2167

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
